First step

Before I begin any work, I must understand your situation to determine if I can assist you.

The first step is a consultation. These are generally done by phone or video call; they can also be done over email, text or WhatsApp.

The first consultation is a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation where I determine visa options and identify if there are any potential challenges you may face in the process. I will confirm whether I can assist you and, if so, what my exact fee will be. Generally, I charge fixed fees. Head over to my fees page for details about how much you can expect to pay.

Sometimes potential clients’ situations are complex, and it will take research and significant time to provide eligibility advice. I won’t be able to do this as part of a free consultation. If this is the case, I will let you know and discuss the alternative paid services I offer, such as a paid 1-hour consultation which costs $400+GST. This amount is fully redeemable if you proceed with my services within 4-weeks of the paid consultation.

Following a consultation, and if you wish to engage my services, I will forward you a ‘representation agreement’ outlining the agreed work and the applicable fees.

Before I can commence any work, I require a 50% retainer of my fee upfront. This retainer is held in a client trust account and will only be released once the work has been completed. The balance of my fees are payable before any visa applications are lodged.

My fees do not include the Department of Immigration fees or other costs that may be incurred, such as visa application charges, health checks, police checks or qualification assessments.
